View Full Version : [ubuntu] Upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10 hangs

I decided to move my system up to a more current version, so last night I used the Update Manager to start the process. This morning, I see that the Distribution Upgrade is stuck early on in the process at 'Unpacking replacement libnih-dbus1 ...'

I did a search in the forums and didn't find anything relevant using that string. Any suggestions?

I realized that was an option, I was just hoping it wasn't the only option. I chose to go the upgrade route because I figured that would preserve my configurations (apache, proftp, php, fstab, etc). I assume a fresh install would lose all of that.
