Hi mates. Back in ubuntu 11.10 i installed tuxguitar, then installed timidity++ too for the sound problem. It was fixed then by running tuxGuitar>tools>settings>sound>midiport(changed to suitable item from dropdown)

Now, when i am in ubuntu 11.04, i did the same thing, installed timidity++, but i dont get the new entries in the application(i followed the same as i did in ubuntu 11.10) that were supposed to be added after installation of timidity. Is there something i need to configure?

Its been one day and i still am not able to configure what i did wrong. I removed tuxguitar and timidity, did a fresh installations too, but no luck still.... Getting too frustrated here.

Sad Linuxing. :(

Finally, tuxguitar-jsa named plugin did the work. Just had to set the sound tab and select Gerville under that and it worked. Just in case anyone would want to know.... :D

Happy Linuxing
