Hi

I have a PC and a laptop both with the Ubuntu 11.10 installed locally. If I were to plug in my desktop's monitor into the VGA port of my laptop, each monitor acts as a seperate work space (by workspace I dont quite mean the 4 virtual workspaces that can be acessed via CTRL + ALT + ARROW KEY).

I am wondering if it is possible to recreate this work enviroment with the computer and laptop running independently, as opposed to having the computer's monitor plugged into the laptop. IE: Is it possible to have a firefox windows open on my laptop, which can then be sent to my computer monitor and vica verse? Obviously the laptop and computer are both connected to the same network.

Just to fully clarify, I am not referring to remote desktoping or screen mirroring.

Thanks...
