I just started watching the original Star Trek series on Netflix. Am I the only one who has thought that Yeoman Rand from Star Trek looks a lot like Chloe O'Brian from 24?

I once uploaded a photo to http://celebrity.myheritage.com/FP/Company/try-face-recognition.php, it came back with a match with movie maker Peter Jackson. AFAIK we're not related.

That doesn't even begin to address actors and actresses who were on both ST:TOS and ST:TNG.

Who do you like for captain, however? Pick anyone you want (except for Picard, of course) and let us know why he or she is best.

Speaking of Star Trek, I think it has been noted in past threads that Spock's father bears an uncanny resemblance to one of the Romulan captains.
