Two questions.I have a 160. GB hard drive that is partitioned. 70. GB has xp installed then a 10 GB partition. The remaining 80. GB is unallocated and i would like to install ubuntu. i have installed ubuntu previously but never partitioned the drive like this before. When i run the installer there is a warning flag that says windows will be erased, the flag is there even if I go with the standard install side by side. I'm assuming that if I install ubuntu on the unallocated portion of the hard drive that windows will not be erased ? If this is correct will there be an option at start up to select what os to boot into ? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks
