View Full Version : [ubuntu] My desktop Environment(Xorg) stops responding in Ubuntu 11.10

As the title says, if I press CTRL + ALT SHIFT key to enter the tty command line and kill 'XORG' process, then desktop environment will be restart and return to normal.

The following is my system information:

Memory: 3.9 GiB
Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5300 @ 2.60GHz × 2
Graphics: Intel® G45/G43 x86/MMX/SSE2
Driver: Intel® G45/G43 x86/MMX/SSE2
OS type: 32-bit
Disk 242.0GB
