I recently switched to 11.10 from an older version of Ubuntu and I have to say I absolutely hate it. It's added so much extra work to just use my desktop, its very frustrating.
Anyway, nautilus has an extremely annoying behavior of popping new windows under instead of just popping them up - and displays a notification "Folder" is ready. I don't want to have to click AGAIN to get it to show up - I want it to just pop up.
This is most present and can be repeated if you have downloaded something in Chrome - and choose "Show in Folder". Nautilus will make a new window, but not pop up, so I have to click on the notification to get it to pop up.
Is there any way to disable this annoying behavior and just make it show the window I wanted to see?
