I created a Multiboot EFI USB for my Windows 7 & Ubuntu 11.10 (tried both alternate & desktop). Then I installed Windows 7 in EFI mode - Works. Tried installing Ubuntu 11.10 Alternate then Desktop in EFI mode. Alternate complains of no available kernel on "select & install software". Desktop complains of "attempt to configure apt to install additional software failed"

Then I tried using Unetbootin on my working Windows to create both Ubuntu Desktop & Alternate installers. Same error as my self made version. Which leads me to wonder, is Windows 7 installed 1st the cause? It did create those MSR/EFI partitions, maybe they conflict? But its a missing kernel, never tried the same USB on a clean system, but I believe I made working USB's with unetbootin with the same iso images.
