السلام عليكم

Well, I hadn't found the visual effects on this edition of ubuntu so I began to look for a solution which was CompizManager ..

I installed it .. then, every thing in the GUI changed .. the windows have no title bar .. no control buttons (close ,minimize .. etc.) .. well .. I think other things changed as well .. I manipulated a little bit with the vast options that were offered by Compiz and a message always appeared which says something like "This will change in the system files and destroy your computer. Do you want to continue?" .. and of course ,bravely, I accepted.

By now .. Compiz is eliminated .. somehow I managed to uninstall it .. the GUI started to recuperate but the title bars still invisible and of course, consequently, I can't move any window.

Can you help me with that or it's preferred to reinstall the system ?!!:guitar:

You might try this in terminal.

CTL-ALT-T to get to terminal.

Enter: sudo unity --reset

Hopefully, this will reset everything and your issue will be resolved.
