Hi...
I have been running a successful 10.04 64 bit installation of Ubuntu, primarily for Java and other development purposes. Last week, I ill-advisedly decided to upgrade to Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit - by doing a complete data backup, and clean install.
Went through ALL heartburn that most people have gone through regarding the wired ethernet network, but somehow, managed to get it up and working.
Now facing a strange problem - Netbeans 7.1 will not compile even a single line program. Went back to Netbeans 7.0.1, and that too is not launching. Have Sun Java JRE and JDK 7u2 installed.
Wanted to check if somebody else is also facing something similar? If so, is there a solution ?
