I downloaded
mame-common_0.139-0ubuntu1_all.deb
dbl clicked and installed

then
mame_0.139-0ubuntu1~ww1~lucid_i386.deb
dbl clicked, package installer says needs mame-common.

checked /etc/ mame-common is there
???
p.s. not much in mame-common ???

mame depends on mame-common (= 0.139-0ubuntu1~ww1~lucid); however:
Version of mame-common on system is 0.139-0ubuntu1.

sooooo.... where is this ww1~lucid mame-common
