Yes, I'm a geek and my wife knows it. Therefore she keeps buying me nerdy stuff like this on my birthdays.
(purchased from thinkgeek.com)
What are some of your geeky/nerdy toys that you're embarrassed/proud to tell everyone about?

Love it! I haven't been to Think Geek in a while.. time to go back.
The only "geek" thing I've had on my desk at work is a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree and a couple old Koosh balls.. I just started here and am just now getting my inner geek displaying on the desk.

c'mon now.. not enough fans... you can't launch that thing without at least six more fans! ;)

you kidding me? that box runs ice-cold on idle (i got 23 °C CPU temps, room temp is 20). On full load i never got above 65 °C with the CPU fan and case fans at minimum speeds..my Graphics card never went over 68 °C also with minimum fan speeds. When its under load and i hold my hand at the back, its just a bit warm (like a hair dryer without enough power to heat the air properly)

actually, i have 4. One is in the front somewhere between the fron panel and the case itself.
note: my graphics card isn't any better^^

note 2: this is my first custom built pc. I assembled it in ~4 hours and had all the wiring done right with one attempt (still proud for it^^). Mounting the CPU cooler was a pain...its hard to hold 1 kg still enough to place it with enough precision.
and what i laughed at, it took me 4 hours to install windows (it just did not want to install from the usb drive...said my DVD drive needed drivers....got it done after rushing to the store buying a dvd and popping it in <.<) and installing ubuntu took me ~25 minutes^^
