Here's a new problem. I just started working with an MSI S6000 notebook that has a button just above the keyboard to open the CD/DVD drive. This button works in BIOS and Windows but not with Ubuntu 10.10. Can anyone help me with a driver so I can use my CD/DVD drive in Ubuntu? I can open the drive through terminal but that's a lot more work than just pushing the drive open button. Thank you.

I am having the same problem. I have an MSI with the same button and I cannot find the drivers for it. Is there any other way to open the CD/DVD drive, like I know in the older versions of rhythmbox you could "eject" a CD and it would open...
