Ubuntu Mini with JoliOS GUI

Hi people. I am planing to prepare a customized Ubuntu for my media desktop. So I was advised to start with Ubuntu mini.iso installation. So this is just a non GUI ubuntu envoirnment, so for GUI i want something very similar or exact like JoliOS/Jolicloud.

But there will be some changes in the status bar. Then I'll need to load graphics card drivers and other drivers based on my usage, right?
So can anyone pls help me on how can i achieve this kind of UI on ubuntu mini pls..?
