Hi, I have had a range of desktop problems since installing 11.10 and on a previous thread someone suggested some kind of settings conflict. Having experimented with a few settings in CCSM I tried resetting to the defaults to start again.
Oh dear - Unity no longer works - the dock has completely disappeared. I tried going back to Classic, running CCSM and restoring the Unity plugin, but that had no effect when I returned to Unity. Help! What are the key settings to make Unity work?
