Hello,

I'm creating some screencasts with a GNOME Shell 3.2 desktop environment. I'd like to hide the clock applet so people don't need to be distracted by the date and time I'm recording the screencast at.

I've found a GNOME shell exension to move the clock's location in the top panel, but it doesn't remove the clock altogether, which is what I'm aiming for.

Thanks for your time (pun intended)!

Scott

Not sure if it work in Gnome 3.2 Shell as well, but in Unity it does.

Simply open System Settings / Date and Time, go to Clock and de-tick "Show clock in menu bar".
