Hello, i have an Asus eeepc 4gb surf that came with Ubuntu on it. I had the stupid idea to try and install winxp on it and it was slow. Then i decided to try and out the ubuntu back on it and i am having problems getting ubuntu installed back on it using a SD card. I tried using pendrive to make a usb boot and also tried unetbootin to make the usb boot drive.
Every time i try no matter what version i choose last version being 10.04.3 i can boot and select install and it runs okay for a minute and then all the sudden it comes up with allot of time out messages the last one reading 0 (/cdrom/casper/filesystem.squashfs and then i am left with a flashing cursor. I am kind of new to ubuntu installs and i have read were there are problems with sandisk sd cards and that is what i have and i have tried to see if it was limited but or restricted but it says its not.
Please help
