Hi guys, Sorry if this might sound naive or dense. I'm presently using Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx and I enjoy it a lot - - and No, I'm not having any problems. I'm simply wondering though when the next L.T.S. upgrade becomes available, if it isn't already. Please advise. (By the way, if there was a link or site to find this info I haven't been able to locate it yet, that's why I resorted to looking a little foolish and asking here.) Thanks for your assistance. Richard...

The first number is the year, the second the month. 10.04 was released April 2010. The next is April 2012. So far ubuntu is releasing LTS every 2 years. Not sure if that might change in future.

Hey,

Not out just yet but it's getting closer. The next LTS is version 12.04 due out in a few months. You can have a look at it HERE (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/precise/alpha-1/) if you fancy playing with the Alpha but its not ready yet.

If you don't want to upgrade you don't have to. 10.04 will be supported for some time....

Yep, I knew about the "Year.Month" numbering, just didn't know when the next LTS was due. Thanks for the info!
