Hello,

So I installed Ubuntu with GNOME 2 but really didnt like it much, so I installed KDE4, and then Trinity (KDE3). I am wanting to remove GNOME and all of its components but what I am finding as commands arent working. I found one about removing liborbit2 but, what will that do to my KDEs?

I don't really recommend what you are trying to do.

Typically, different desktops can live together on the same system without too much trouble.

Where a user insists on going pure to a particular desktop environment. I would generally recommend a clean install. As removing is quite complex and never without consequences.

in other words, you should just make a clean install of Kubuntu as it has KDE4 as the default desktop environment.
