View Full Version : [SOLVED] Panel Items Fixed Location?

I like xubuntu a lot. But, one of my only complaints is the fact that panel items can't be in a fixed location instead of right next too the previous item. For example if I want the time to be all the way in the righ hand corner and there is pretty much nothing else on the panel then it will go right next to whatever is on the left. I would have to put a ton of separators on the panel before the time to get it in the right hand corner which is annoying. also i use windows buttons up on top so separators wouldn't help much. Is there anyway I can just move the time applet to the right hand corner without a bunch of separators? I know in gnome 2 you could just drag it wherever on the panel and it wouldn't move

Place a separator to the left of the time applet and in the Separator properties, check the box "Expand". This will force the clock to the right-side of the screen.
