Hello
I have fresh installation of Xubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot. If I double-click on any application link (for example firefox, see screenshot) on my desktop or one-click on application icon over the application menu, the cursor doesn't change to the typically "waiting wheel" during the start. Does somebody know why? Can i enable this behavior?

This behavior is a pain, because you don't now if the desired application will be started. For the user it seams like the double-click didn't work and this should be done again.
I searched over 3 hours for this problem in the internet but didn't find solution for this problem. I hope that somebody can help me.
