I installed 11.10 on my iMac, using Parallels Desktop. Everything was fine until a few hours ago when I decided to try at login to use the KDE plasma desktop. Very bad decision indeed.
Now, the login screen is completely black, except for a fraction of a second when I toggle the full screen. Then the login box appears for about one half of a second but I doesn't give me time to even start typing the password.
Do I have to scrap my Ubuntu install or is there anything that can be done to salvage this ?
