I'm trying to change my theme in GIMP 2.7.4. I downloaded two gtk2.0 themes and placed one of the theme files in the /home/me/.gimp-2.7/ folder and a different one in my /usr/share/gimp/2.0/ folder and attempted to load them however i keep seeing the default Ambiance theme.
I tried loading them using Unity, Gnome-Shell, then regular Gnome and no luck :/ I know that ubuntu is using gtk3.0 now but i can't find any documentation for how that effects gimp. I'm trying to develop a new gimp theme, so this information is very crucial.
