I am trying to install xubuntu onto my drive that has Ubuntu 10.04 and Funbuntu already installed.
The Installer won't let me choose /dev/sda3, which currently has pclos on it.
The installer keeps going back to highlighting /dev/sda1, which has Ubuntu 10.04 on it.
It nowhere states which drive it will install to before I click on the INSTALL Button!?
How can I be sure it will install to sda3?

IF you are having trouble with the partitioning part I would seriosuly suggest that you ensure that you have both checked the download's md5sum (unless you got it from a torrent) and the disk's integrity.

If you still have issues perhaps a screenshot might cast some light on this - I've never had the installer not take any notice of what I've told it.

I assume this is not the dev 12.04 unreleased version.

Thanks for you reply.
It's Xubuntu 11.10, xfce 4.8 which I am running from the CD.

How do I add the Screen Shot from the Clipboard?

That looks fine to me

It's set to install on sda3 and format it.

The mountpoint / and tick in the box show that.

It setup my GRUB with no problems.
Thank you again.
