Screen Cut off on Compaq Screen

Hi,

I installed xUbuntu on an old Compaq s1000 from 2003. The screen is Compaq FP5315

I added some extra RAM and It works beautifully, the only problem is with the Display.

The bottom of the screen has been cut off.

I tried changing the resolution in the system settings but it doesn't work.

Any clue to what I can do?

Also the mouse pointer display in a slightly different place to where its functionality is. I presume this is connected to the first problem.

I solved my problem by reading this thread:

Basically I just needed to install the NVIDIA driver.
