Use the Advanced Settings (apt:gnome-tweak-tool)-tool. And if you are using Gnome-shell, you may need to log out and back again after changing the window border theme...

I did that, but there is no Window theme for this theme, same as a gtk theme, there's only a shell theme. :(

+1 on possibly needing to log out/in. Even thought "alt-f2 r <rtn>" should work, I've had a few cases where all the icon changes didn't propagate to all the gui's, specifically firefox, w/o logging out/in.

Problem is that there is no specific window theme for the theme I want. :( I don't see it on there. Same for GTK

Then you need to download an actual window theme. :)
I recommend looking for themes that come with all the components, GTK3, GTK2, window borders and a shell theme.

Look in the theme folder and be sure the theme is fully extracted . I have to logout and in when applying some themes . Window themes appear on the bottom advanced settings .
