As for Android patches in the Linux Kernel, I wonder if that means that Netflix has a better chance of making it to Linux, or whether the continued and deliberate (IMHO) embargo of Linux (by MS and Hollywood - still miffed about the whole CSS fiasco) will continue.

The kernel's not the issue re: Netflix. Chromebooks run Netflix and use a vanilla kernel.
The news - both parts - is awesome, though! = )

This is great news. Perhaps now Lexmark will finally start getting to work via Linux.

I'm not sure Lexmark has anything to do with Android, but Lexmark printers are now linux compatible. Lexmark's Linux Secret (http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=lexmark_linux&num=1)
But anyway, it's great to hear android drivers will become part of the kernel. That means any android capable device will be able to run a regular linux desktop and have touch support.

Weren't they able to before?
Linux already has touch and multi-touch support, and ARM Support.
