Scenario:

- Laptop with strong wifi signal
- Second wifi adapter
- Nintendo Wii that finds wifi signal so weak that it doesn't work

Target:

To connect the laptop to Wifi with the first Wifi adapter, and to create a wifi network (hotspot) with the second one in order to share the signal with the Wii.

Problem:

When I click on "use as hotspot" button, the hotspot is created, but after 5 seconds it's disconnected again and displays this message:
"Connection Failed: Activation of network connection failed"

Could someone give me a hand, please?

Thanks

Same situation here. I'm actively looking for an answer but haven't solved the problem yet. Wi-fi seems to be working, but creation of hotspot network fails just like you described.

That happens because you only have one wifi card. It means you can only be connected to one Wi-fi network at a time, because of that you cannot use your computer as a bridge (or repeater). For that use a properly configures router.
