Trying to learn, but the wiki is confusing and there are hardly any good videos on Youtube about it.

Try screencasters.heathenx.org. Hasn't been updated in a while, but you can learn a whole lot from what's there.

I use it, there is a learning curve, sure,
but that is true for any complex enough
program. What do you think is hard about it?

I would guess that some difficulty could
come from if the user have only used raster
image editors before.

Start Inkscape. Click on Help in the menu bar, then down to Tutorials. There are seven available on my version. There is also the Inkscape Manual (also under Help) which is an online resource.

I'm used to Flash, that's why, lol.

A tip:

Don't intersect more than three or four lines. It won't work. It's also not a bug according to Launchpad.

To SushiR's list, I can add this:

Inkscape: Guide to a Vector Drawing Program (4th Edition) (SourceForge Community Press) by Tavmjong Bah

It's also available from Amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com, among other sources.

Thanks, but a lot of it is covered in the link I've posted before: http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/index.html

You can really spend some time reading there... *lol*

You certainly can, this is excellent, and very nice of the author to give out the book in html form for nothing.

Minor issues: Clone is Alt-D on the version I have in Ubuntu 11.10 and the author refers to Ctrl-D, things like that may involve some figuring out.
