Hi.
I'm using firefox 8 and 9 on ubuntu 10.10, 64bit.
How do I get flash running?

I've tried various installation methods: I installed nspluginwrapper with the 32bit version. I've downloaded and installed the 64bit version directly from adobe and installed it via apturl. I've tried installed it manually. I've tried a firefox browser extension that supposedly helps to install flash automatically. I've had no results with any of these methods.

How can I actually get flash working with firefox?

Try the Flash-Aid extension for Firefox. You can find it here (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flash-aid/). I just now installed it on Firefox 10.0 and it seems to be working...it worked fine on 8 and 9 as well. It's really easy too.

Hope it helps! :)
