Remote Desktop

I want to run a headless 10.04 LTS desktop client. The problem is the following:
Power up the 10.04 desktop and I have it configured to automatically login. However when I try to connect via remote desktop, I get a solid black screen. If I check the 10.04 desktop, it has a message:

Enter password to unlock your login keyring
The login keyring did not get unlocked when you logged into the computer

I can enter the root password for the 10.04 desktop and then I can successfully connect using remote desktop from the 11.04 desktop.

Any help will be appreciated!

Have I posted into the correct forum? This may just be an issue with the login keyring however the message never appears until I try to use Remote Desktop

Gave up on desktop and loaded up 10.04 server which runs great in a headless environment.
