LX Launcher showing empty menus

In Lubuntu Netbook interface, the menus are all empty. When I go to the panel and click the menu button, I see that my menus are there, but I like having the lxlauncher interface. How can I configure this so that I have a nice interface for my netbook?

EDIT: I tried launching it in Openbox as well, still an empty launcher

Did an update and that fixed it. Don't know what the problem was, but it's working now. Marking as solved
