Hi,
Basically new to ubuntu. I burned Ubuntu 10.04 LTS to a CD and first installed it on a Dell Vostro 1500 laptop computer side by side with Windows 7 and it works excellent. Now I tried to boot a Toshiba Satellite Mobile Intel(R) Celeron(r) CPU 2.00 GHz. 752 MB of RAM laptop with Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3 from CD and when it gets to the purple Ubuntu screen after maybe a 2 minute the screen goes black.
I am not to computer savy but I can try and follow directions. Any help? Am I in the right forum?
