update issues

i just upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10 and im having an update issue im trying to update packages for the Gnome 3 shell and it keeps stopping due to supposed untrusted packages, is there a work around for this or am i basically screwed?

now its telling me my system needs to do a partial upgrade and when i tell it to do that it tells me it cant authenticate any of the packages and quits, im actually starting to get pissed off, pardon the language, Ubuntu 10.10 never gave me ANY of these issues even ONCE in the time i had it
