Hi,

I've juste installed Lunbuntu and it seems great : very reactive and wifi works immediatly without any configurations !

So, I've decided to play a little with the desktop configuration. Because I'm working on a laptop, my screen width is bigger than my screen height, thus I would like to use only 1 vertical panel on the left of the screen.

I suceed to put this vertically (which is esay), enlarge&rotate the background image, but I've still a problem : the icons are not horizontaly centered, and I didn't find any options in the graphical configuration interface in order to fix that. Is it possible to modify this behaviour thanks to configuration files ? In this case, which files should I edit ?

I would like to post a screenshot in order to illustrate my words but I don't find how to do that.

Morever, I can not arrange my desktop on a grid : I would like 4 desktops like that :
Desk 1 Desk 2
Desk 3 Desk 4
But I only have desktops like in a row :
Desk 1 Desk 2 Desk 3 ...
