The Ubuntu logo on the main sticker is solid orange, not tricolor-ed like earlier releases of Ubuntu. And they are nice and shiny :).

This is way sweet! I've got "ubuntu linux for human beings" stickers on my tower and my netbook, but they're showing their age now. It'll be cool to get some snazzy metallic stickers, especially if I manage to buy myself a new laptop next year.

I think I'll wait until after Christmas to jump on this one - the Royal Mail have quite enough on their plates this week!

I really want the domed stickers from the Canonical store to replace the old multicoloured circle of friends on my netbook but there's no way I'm paying £3.90 postage on £2.50 worth of stickers.

Just wanted to clarify on this point. Yes, we send two stickers along with each new system we sell. We used to put them on at the factory, but new we offer them separate, so that you an place them wherever you want.

I think it'd be awesome if the stickers that came with the cd's were case badges, the above logo is awesome but silver and black would rock. Unfortunately foil stickers arent cheap.

I have these stickers.

The sticker is shiny silver and the logo is a mono color, reddish orange.

It says powered by ubuntu in black letters.

It is not a real computer badge quality, its just a sticker, but it still looks good ;)

Canonical sells some really nice ones too. Even though they are vinyl, they sport the current Ubuntu branding and look really good on my computers.

I sent off my S.A.E. for UK stickers weeks ago and they still haven't arrived.

Is this normal?

I don't really mind about the delay in receiving a freebie; being a paranoid individual, what worries me is having given away my name and address to perfect strangers if the offer turns out not to be genuine.

4 to 6 weeks in the waiting time in the US, so in the UK it might be similar! Don't worry!
