Hi all,
I am on Ubuntu 11.10 and I use the "Ubuntu Classic" (WITH compiz effects) as my desktop session. I just notice that compiz is not automatically turned on after login, but I can manually turn compiz on by typing "compiz --replace" in the terminal. I suspect this problem is caused by the latest update because I just installed that this morning (16 Dec 2011).
As I am a Ubuntu newbie, I am writing here to ask - what would be the simplest way to solving this? I think I can put the "compiz --replace" command in "Startup Applications", but I wonder if there would be any better fix than this.
Many thanks!
