Yesterday, when I turned off my HP Pavillion, every thing was working except WIFI in new 11/10 Ubuntu (It's another battle I keep trying to solve) But today what I've found is that Windows doesn't allow WIFI to work (till yesterday WIFI was not a problem in Windows) and when I try to enter Ubuntu all I get is a lilac screen. Please, any clue about all this new mess and how to solve it?

Thanks a lot.

IF this is a laptop, there is most likely a switch or button on the case that enables/disables WiFi. It's pretty easy to accidentally switch that OFF. Check to confirm that Wifi is switched ON.

Also, boot back into Windows, check Device Manager, and confirm that the wireless device is enabled.
