Hi I'm a long time windows user who wanted to try something different and I just installed the 11.10 release of Ubuntu on my computer. I only recently learnt what a terminal is and have done absolutely everything by point and click in the past.
I wanted to install PCSX2 on my computer and I got as far as reading this site:
https://launchpad.net/~gregory-hainaut/+archive/pcsx2.official.ppa (https://launchpad.net/%7Egregory-hainaut/+archive/pcsx2.official.ppa)
And typing in the recomended commands but I now have a problem. What do I type to actually install the program? I'm guessing it's along the lines of
sudo apt-get yadayada
but I want to know what I replace the yada yada yada with to actually make it work.
I used DOS back when windows required you to use it install games when I was a kid but otherwise I haven't worked with text based commands for years. I'm a computer noob and don't know my backside from my elbow when it comes to this stuff.
Please help!
PS I'm running the 32 bit version of Ubuntu and I saw a guide for the 64 bit version but I don't know what any of it means hence my new thread.
