RDesktop / FreeRDP time zone redirection

When using either RDesktop or FreeRDP to connect to a Windows terminal server, the time zone redirection is not working correctly when Lubuntu is the client OS. Windows 2003 shows a time zone nowhere near what I selected (such as Eastern) and Windows 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Session Host simply reports that the time zone is not recognized. When I do the same thing with the same parameters under Ubuntu (10.10 and 11.10) there is no problem; the time zone is correct.

Has anybody here successfully got RDP time zone redirection to work under Lubuntu? Perhaps there are some libraries not installed on Lubuntu by default that I may be missing or some configuration option to try?
