I have a fresh install that boots in read only mode and cannot load the bnx2 drivers.
I have followed the bug reports and tried the modifications to the init-bottom. No change.
Has this bug been resolved or has anyone managed to get 11.10 running on the ML370s.
Config:
ML370 G5
2 array contollers (E200) (P400) configured using the HP array utilities. (one 500 Gb - one 1 Tb)
dual 1 Gb Broadcom NetExtreme NICs (bnx2)
4 Gb Ram
Dual dual-core xeon processors
Old equipment I know, but we are replacing all windows servers with linux (ubuntu Servers) and we have 8 of these machines.
since it cannot boot properly and is read only - there are no logs.
The system actually cannot boot at all - just hangs.
