View Full Version : [SOLVED] Should updates be installed on top of 10.10?

I have just installed 10.10.

The Update Manager displays notification that there are 356 updates ready to be installed. Would installation of these updates on top of downloaded 10.10 create an unstable intermediate state of the system software, or are these updates a part of the stable 10.10 release composition?

If the former is the case, should I use Settings dialog to disable all the update options, in order to stay on the stable 10.10 baseline?

They are all the updates that have been released since 10.10 was released.

While I was running 10.10 I was never left with an unstable system.

The installed 10.10 is not now the stable baseline - the updated one is :)

Thank you, understood, makes sense, just was not sure about the process.

It's ok - all questions that others including me have asked, read another thread for or have thought of :)
