I like D as well. The circle goes better than a square with the style of the 'W' and the period is smaller, which also looks better.

Going to use the logo for an android app that notifies people of new posts on the blog.
Do you think the logo looking similar to the wordpress logo would cause a problem? I don't think it looks too close.

I'm actually particular to option 'C'. I like the gradient effect (dark to light; left to right) thing going on in that one.
