Doesn't work for me.

That window has no real purpose.

The problem is that they use Quicktime. Probably not Linux friendly.

I am using the same chrome as you.
So what can I do to make it play?

Are the people who aren't having problems using Windows or Linux? It works fine in anything if you're using Windows and have Quicktime installed.

Works for me in Kubuntu 11.10 and Firefox 8. I have the gecko media player plugin, but it should work if you have the restricted extras installed, as the source says it is playing the sounds in mp3 format.

The only thing else I can think of suggesting is adding the none-free repo, if you don't already have it added. Maybe it will make a difference: http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/ppas/11.

so far its not working. I added medibuntu and applied all the upgrades thru synaptic.
I also noticed w32 was not installed so installed them too.
