Problem with dual boot: Lost Windows.

hello, i pls i used to run 2 partitions on my laptop, an ubuntu partition and a windows vista partion. recently i started having problems with my windows partion and did a system recovery, which wiped out the entire partition and reinstalled it again. the problem now is that whenever i try to log on to the windows partion i get an error saying:

error: no such device: CCD61EA7D61391B6
error: no such disk.
press any button to continue


pls i'll appreciate any help possible

Are we correct in assuming that you can still load up Ubuntu?

If so, open a terminal and type sudo update-grub and enter your password when you are asked for it.
