When i click some application's icon in the left panel on Unity, it swtiches to that application/window. This works for all applications except Gimp. When i click the Gimp icon on the left panel, it will launch Gimp if it isn't already open. If it is already open, then it does nothing. On alt+tabbing the Gimp window isn't even in the list, so i cannot alt+tab to it.
The only possible way to switch to an already open Gimp window, is to do it with that animated window switcher (i don't know what it's called) that's executed with the Win+"W" key combination, that shows all open applications at once and then you point and click the one you want focus on.
I feel it's important to say that the version installed is 2.7, which i think is still in the development phase or something? How could i tell where exactly the problem is and how could i fix it?
