Compiz Cube Background

I have compiz cube enabled
I am using Ubuntu 11.10, NVidia propriety drivers and dual head
When I show the compiz cube the background behind the cube isn't drawn

It has to be said Compiz is poorly supported on Ubuntu 11.10!
I wonder if this is related to the fact that 4hours later my machine is so slow - can't drag windows around properly any more!

Hi, have a look at this link and I have to have my refresh rate set about 80 in compiz.

You nay have to change other settings in compiz or the nvidia manager, I also have to use the old driverfor my nvidia card.

What is the specs of your system?
