I am currently running Ubuntu 10.10 on an Asus laptop in a dual boot configuration with Windows 7x64.

Was just wondering if there were any currently outstanding issues with upgrading with this kind of setup. Especially any issues involving Grub no longer showing Windows.

Thanks.

setup probably no. but if oyu have any PPA or additional drivers installed in Ubuntu you need to remove/dispable them before doing an upgrade.

What kind of upgrade?

If you are planning to "upgrade" as in doing a clean install of Ubuntu 11.10 by removing 10.10 then you won't have any problems. Just don't forget to Back UP your Data.

However if you have planned to upgrade from 10.10 to 11.10 through 'Update Manager' then expect annoyances. If I were you, I won't use update manager to upgrade as it will be both time consuming and ridden with issues. I would download myself 11.10, burn it to a disk and do a Clean Install.
