I got my Mom a Kindle Fire for Christmas. First impression: "wow, Amazon's app store really sucks". After about a minute of googling, I found a guide to rooting it and gaining access to Android Market.
Now, here's my question: will rooting the Kindle Fire in any way negatively effect my or her experience? Such as, Amazon detecting that the device has been rooted and not allowing access to their official ebook store, or something similar?
