I am new to Ubuntu and have spent hours trying to install my new printer in Ubuntu (Natty Narwhal):confused:. I eventually got drivers from Canon's website here (http://software.canon-europe.com/software/0040261.asp)and after about 5 minutes I had the drivers downloaded, extracted and installed. :P
I searched the forums and found nothing about how and where to get the correct drivers. I hope this helps someone it certainly would have helped me.
